Benefits of Lithographic Printing

LOWER COSTS: Longer run costs can be much lower than digital printing thanks to higher running speeds of litho presses.

HIGH QUALITY: Using the latest pre-press software and colour controls across pre-press and the printing presses means very high quality definition in printing in single colours or up to 10 colours.

SPEED: Litho print is very fast, with speeds up to 10,000 sheets per hour.

MORE OPTIONS: Litho printing can provide far more finishing options than digital printing thanks to the huge number of paper types and weights available, ranging from 60gsm up to 400gsm. The print size can be from A3 up to B1 and can be printed in up to 10 colours, including metallic, fluorescent and spot colours.

In addition, there are many finishing options including die-cutting, lamination, perfect (notch) binding for books and journals, saddle stitching for magazines and newsletters, thread sewing for academic books and journals, drilling for loose-leaf, wiro binding for manuals and educational workbooks and distributions.

There is full flexibility and back-up across all our plant and machinery with strict quality control procedures, plus a comprehensive bindery with a full range of handling facilities and warehousing.
